Robert Thier, an Underappreciated Genius of the Victorian Era

Image Source: Pinterest All of us bookaholics have some day or the other read one or two books that we feel are totally underappreciated. Maybe because we find them so interesting or maybe it’s a rare change in pace from a specific genre. For me it was the “Storm and Silence” series (ongoing) by Robert Thier. I’ve never been a fan of Historical Fiction and I generally avoid them. But while scrolling through Wattpad, I found the brief of this book a bit peculiar, which was not really something that is seen in such a genre and I opened the first chapter of the book. That was back in 2016 and 6 books later, 7th in progress I cannot get enough of it. Some of you might know about the platform that was Wattpad back in 2016-17 when there was no such thing as “paid” books or premium or something. Loki: Episode One: Glorious Purpose (Spoiler Alert!)

 Hey readers, So the much awaited show Loki aired its first episode on 9th June 2021 and... it wasn't THAT great to be honest. Here's my take on it. Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD! Starting with where Loki steals the tesseract in MCU, Loki arrives at an unknown place where he's taken in by the TVA - Time Variance Authority which then proceeds to process him like any other "variant" in time which was pretty humorous. Loki, like always, attempts to escape and almost succeeds until he finds out how his life ends and how much power the TVA has, then Agent Mobius, a "big fan" of Loki suggests that he help them to deal with some problems they were facing. The episode ends at a point where Agent Mobius tells Loki something shocking and the rest we'll find out in the coming episodes. One of the few things I liked about Loki was that he was his usual smart, funny and witty self who kept the humor up with his actions and responses. Being the first episode there isn...
